MN Permit to Carry
Know the Law. Carry with Confidence.
Minnesota’s state-mandated course to obtain your Permit to Carry — covering legal statutes, shooting proficiency, and the real-world knowledge you need to carry responsibly.
The Course
WHAT IS THE MN PERMIT TO CARRY COURSE?
This is the State Mandated course required to obtain your Permit to Carry in the State of Minnesota. It is a legal class with a live-fire shooting proficiency test that provides the most up-to-date information available. We teach an easy-to-follow format that exceeds the Minnesota BCA criteria — covering everything from Use of Force law to tactical considerations and beyond.
Students are expected to have a basic knowledge in the safe use of a firearm, including loading, unloading, and shooting a handgun. Classes are capped at 12 students to ensure every participant gets the attention they need.
